“Every great achievement was once considered impossible”
One has truly said that small drops of water make a mighty ocean. So, have our ardent students who, with their unflinching constant efforts have made it large and succeeded in their endeavors of management studies here, at Unitedworld School of Business, Ahmedabad. The 27th of January, 2013 witnessed the proud convocation ceremony of batch 2010-2012. The ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Shri B.L Yadav (VP, Essar Services India Ltd), Mr. Hiten Vasant (MD, Vasant Group of Companies), Mr. Manas Chakravarty (Director- Academics), Mr. Jaideep Banerjee (Head of Operations) and Dr. Bhuvneshwar Gupta (Director). Faculties and students too made the audience.
While the spotlight of the convocation ceremony was on the felicitation of our batch and specialization toppers, along with conferring of certificates to students, what also grabbed attention were the insightful, experiential and valuable knowledge imparted by the esteemed dignitaries. Mr. Jaideep Banerjee gave it a sparked ignition by highlighting the institute’s vision and missions, five years down the lane, thus inspiring the gathering towards a brighter and more productive future of our esteemed UnitedWorld School of Business.
Shri. B.L Yadav, backed with an experience from major Corporates of India, shared his insights on management skills and globalization. It was during his flow of thoughts that one could visualize the importance and strategies that management professionals can apply in the real world.
Further on, in just a few words, it was a delight to learn and yearn from the inspirational thoughts presented by Mr. Hiten Vasant. Being an ardent and successful entrepreneur himself, Mr. Vasant highlighted the dynamics of entrepreneurship skills, the utility of innovation as well as environmental care while your progress in terms of wealth.
And pooling in to this knowledge sharing ocean, was Mr. Manas Chakravarty’s highly motivated talk on business ethics- something that our economy seems to be only reading about in textbooks and very little in practice. “It may be hard to build a successful business on the foundations of ethics, but once you have built it, it would be impossible for it to fall”, he exclaimed!
This wonderful knowledge sharing was followed by the felicitation ceremony, whereby Tamanna Menghani bagged the position of batch topper and Finance specialization topper; Tanish Magan was the Marketing specialization topper and Payal Choudhury was the Human Resource topper. Followed by a vote of thanks by Prof. Chandrani Chatterjee and succeeded by a sumptuous lunch, the convocation embarked upon an end. A journey had begun in 2010 and on this day, yet another began!
